When the Levee Breaks

Oh, the irony: so I’m cruising down the road in my $3.79 gas blasting Led Zeppelin’s “When the Levee Breaks” with nary a care. A sampling of the eerie lyrics:

…If it keeps on rainin’, levee’s goin’ to break,
When the levee breaks I’ll have no place to stay.
…Don’t it make you feel bad
When you’re tryin’ to find your way home,
You don’t know which way to go?
If you’re goin’ down south
They go no work to do

Cryin’ won’t help you, prayin’ won’t do you no good,
When the levee breaks, Mama, you got to move.
All last night sat on the levee and moaned,
Thinkin’ ’bout me baby and my happy home.

Going down, going down now, going down.

  1. Bunnie says:

    Baby,

When I open this page in Explorer at home on my Mac, it looks really weird. This entry which I’m assuming is your latest one doesn’t come up until I scroll down. It starts at the end of where the side bar ends. I know you’re not really targeting the “Mac” population… but thought you might want to know. :o

  2. Hunnie, I know for a fact that you’re running IE5.1.7 on OS9! Fixing this problem in MAC/IE5.1.7 will most likely break it for WIN/IE6.0, as I’ve had CSS float problems with IE before. 10% of the sites you visit probably don’t render properly. My advice is to upgrade to OS10.4 with Safari 2.0.1 or Mozilla Firefox.
