Matt BrundageThe Ninth Amendment is the most overlooked sentence in the U.S. Constitution. Having strong convictions is not the same as being closed-minded. The acquisition of wealth is not a zero-sum game. All income tax is confiscatory. Voting is always about choosing the least worst candidate. Advice: Vote for the candidate least likely to spend money that does not exist.

Recent violent crime rates do not correlate to poverty or drugs; they correlate to long-term lead exposure. Judicial activism is inherently wrong; judges who reduce sentences for convicts who "express remorse" should be disbarred. "Illegal immigrant" is an oxymoron as "immigration" implies a legal process. A gun is not a criminal. True peace is not merely the absence of opposition.

It is sometimes easier to communicate with the reverb of a 1973 Fender Stratocaster rather than with the written word.
