The rabbits

In the video: Sniff and Munch enjoy a summer morning in the front yard. They're usually house bunnies, but if the weather is just right, Annie will take them out for a little while. More information about our two rabbits can be found at the blog and the photo gallery.

Annie's fish

Annie brought some bettas over to the townhouse and we've been slowly learning how to take care of them. We started with two, Zippy and Launchy, and soon purchased a dozen more. But they kept dying on us. She didn't know what she was doing wrong, but I think we've determined that they can't survive in small one-quart globes. They like their space. Of the dozen-odd fish we've brought home, only three have survived: Zippy, Launchy (the originals), and Firefox. I stealthily observed that MSIE died, but Firefox lived on. Hmm. As evidenced from the photos on the side, our fish aren't very photogenic, but at least I tried.

The Sheep and Wool Festival

A few pictures from the 2002 Sheep and Wool Festival, an annual feature at the Howard County fairgrounds in Maryland. I'm still looking for a Pig and Pork Festival…
